Arsenal legend slams West Ham fan favourite, claims star could learn from Arsenal ace

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has slammed Marko Arnautovic for his attitude since speculation emerged linking the Austrian with a move away from West Ham.

The former midfielder was speaking to Alan Brazil during talkSPORT’s breakfast show and noted how Arnautovic’s head had been turned since being linked with a move to the Chinese Super League.

Manuel Pellegrini was even forced to drop his leading striker for the Hammers’ trip to Bournemouth, where his side lost 2-0 having struck just one shot on target.

Parlour went on to add how the 29-year-old could actually learn from Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, who has continued to feature for the Gunners’ first-team despite being linked with a move to Juventus.

Parlour told talkSPORT: “Ramsey, you know he’s going to leave, but he still puts in a performance like he did against Chelsea.

“That is how to be a professional footballer. Marko Arnautovic is how not to be a professional footballer.

“He’s a good player, and people love him at West Ham, but suddenly he’s thrown his toys out of the pram and has said, ‘I can’t play, my head’s not right’.

“It just shows you the difference between a true professional and a footballer who is just in it for the money.”
