West Ham fans are desperate for a new striker to be signed in the coming weeks.
The Hammers know that someone will be needed to replace the departed Marko Arnautovic and with ExWHUemployee claiming Sebastien Haller close to moving, one claim from the reliable Twitter man has said something that’s worried the Irons.
Progress has now been turned into us being close to agreeing a fee. It’s not too far off. This will then mean agreeing terms with Haller. He has gone from being very against the move to keen (he has a rough idea of wages on offer). Still a way to go https://t.co/lASPgQgKXG

According to ExWHUemployee, Haller has gone from being very against the move to being keen for it, and that’s now that he has a rough idea of the wages on offer.
Whether or not that holds to be completely true we’ll never know, but the Hammers have had their issues with players before who have been entirely financially oriented, with Arnautovic one of those as he’s left West Ham for China this summer.
Haller has a stellar record in front of goal and if he can come in and keep his amazing form up for the Hammers at The London Stadium then he will easily win the fans approval, although any Arnautovic-style disputes could prove to cost the Frenchman.

Any idea why he was very against the move?

Another moneygrabber? Do we want another one of them? Much rather the Bournemouth striker. English, knows the league and proven in the league, will fight for the shirt.

Why wasn’t he keen in first place? Did he just not think we were big enough???

Any reason why he was ‘very against’ the move?

We’ve had problems before with players who don’t want to play for us. Is it a good idea to sign a player tat was very against the idea of playing for us and needed ‘persuading’ to join our club. And that only happened after wages were discussed.

Is he now only keen because we have agreed to put a release clause in his contract?

The Irons will undoubtedly love Haller if he can score bags of goals for them, but until that starts there are a few fears over his commitment with his supposed West Ham U-turn.
