£10M-valued West Ham ace linked with move to London rivals

|

Given the extent of our summer spending, it’s only natural that players will depart the club in order to balance the books. Cheikhou Kouyate has been linked with a move away from the club for the majority of the summer, and the midfielder has emerged as a transfer target for Crystal Palace.

As per Sky Sports News, as cited by Sports Mole, we’re prepared to sell the 28-year-old midfielder in the transfer window, and he’s of interest to both Porto and Crystal Palace.

Verdict:

The Senegal midfielder has proved to be a dependable figure over the course of the past four years, but, in light of our summer signings, it’s likely that his involvement will be significantly reduced this season. While it appears that his exit is a very probable outcome, I think that he could prove to be a useful option to have on the bench – one who is ready to deputise when required.
