business, and it seems that the new signings are poised to continue.  A dependable journalist has linked us with a move for Rangers’ Josh Windass.

According to the Scottish journalist,  Bill Young, as cited by This Is Futbol, we’re poised to complete the signing of Josh Windass from Rangers before the conclusion of the transfer window.

Young has said that the midfielder will move to the London Stadium for a fee in the region of £4M, the 24-year-old enjoyed a tremendous season for Rangers last campaign, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.

Here’s how West Ham supporters have reacted to the rumours on Twitter.

Verdict:

For a fee of £4M, the potential transfer is a low-risk, high-reward, deal. If Windass is able to emulate his goal-scoring antics in the Premier League, then a £4M would represent a bargain for the club. However, if Windass is unable to thrive in England’s top-flight, then it’s likely that we’ll be able to accumulate a good fee for his services.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree? Let us know!

One Reply to ““Senseless signing” – West Ham fans seriously unconvinced with 18-goal ace”

  • We need to give our youngsters a chance. If they cannot see a possible way into the first team squad, we will have trouble attracting youngsters to our club and damage our youth system. We need a couple given a chance every year and we can hardly spend around £90 million every summer.
Rice is a good advert for the academy and must be given a fair deal. Hopefully he will inspire others in the u23’s etc.
