With a plethora of signings having been made, some very costly financial wise, it’s widely accepted that the club will be selling some of the squad before the transfer window closes.
Yesterday, Vital West Ham, Click Here, covered the possible departure of our midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate. The article, if you revisit it, carries some strong views, from the Hammers support, relating to the player.
Whilst, yesterday, FC Porto was considered to be a possible destination for the 28-year-old today one news source is suggesting that the Senegalese international could be making a move closer to home.
The respected news source, Sky Sports, are reporting that Crystal Palace are keen on signing the 28-year-old and that a deal could be struck if Palace are willing to pay a transfer fee said to be in the region of £10 million.
However, several posts on the social media networks suggest that the required fee might be a little short of what the player is worth:
On his day he is absolutely class. £10m is a ridiculous price worth double in today’s market

We are the worst club for under valuing our players. If he played for any other club they’d get £15m for him. If he played for Spu*s, Levy would get £25m for him. ????@davidgold

Worth more than £10m. £15m and I’d say let him go. To many mistakes in the last couple of seasons for me.

He's actually a good player, he just never wants to play for us. On the odd occasion that he turns up, he has been a warrior. £10m in his current form but could easily double if he pulled his finger out.

Which leads us on to ask the question, how much do you believe Kouyate is worth on the transfer market?
