With a plethora of signings having been made, some very costly financial wise, it’s widely accepted that the club will be selling some of the squad before the transfer window closes.

Yesterday, Vital West Ham, Click Here, covered the possible departure of our midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate. The article, if you revisit it, carries some strong views, from the Hammers support, relating to the player.

Whilst, yesterday, FC Porto was considered to be a possible destination for the 28-year-old today one news source is suggesting that the Senegalese international could be making a move closer to home.

The respected news source, Sky Sports, are reporting that Crystal Palace are keen on signing the 28-year-old and that a deal could be struck if Palace are willing to pay a transfer fee said to be in the region of £10 million.

However, several posts on the social media networks suggest that the required fee might be a little short of what the player is worth:

Which leads us on to ask the question, how much do you believe Kouyate is worth on the transfer market?

  • On his day has been a matchwinner, full of energy. Other days the complete opposite as if his mind is elsewhere. Don’t forget the great job that he has done for the club, often playing out of position where he has done a good job. If he can be motivated (assuming that is the problem), he would be a strong squad player. We are not strong in the defensive midfield department.
