Hammers Match Zone

Yarmolenko, Rice Or Fabianski, The Choice Is Yours

|

The Hammers season is now certainly looking as if it is back on track.

After a dismal start to the season, whereby we didn’t pick up any points from the first four games, West Ham are now unbeaten in two, having won away to Everton, at Goodison Park, whilst also earning a well-deserved draw against Chelsea, at the London Stadium, on Sunday afternoon.

However, it’s fair to say that the fixture against Chelsea could have seen the Hammers take all three points if both Michail Antonio and Andriy Yarmlenko had been more clinical in front of goal.

But, despite his miss, in the second half, a chance that would surely have seen the Hammers take a second victory of the season, Andriy Yarmolenko was named man-of-the-match by the stadium announcer.

Personally, I thought Fabianski and Declan Rice were far more suitable candidates for that accolade.

But, what are your thoughts on how the side played?
