West Ham have improved their form over the course of their recent fixtures, securing three consecutive victories in the Premier League.
After a slow start to the season, where the fixture schedule was not kind to Manuel Pellegrini’s side, the Hammers have secured back-to-back wins over Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace to fly up the league’s standings.
A shining light for the Hammers has been club-record signing Felipe Anderson, who has quickly caught the eye in the Premier League after scoring six goals to lead the scoring charts for the Hammers – earning vast plaudits along the way.
Five of Felipe Anderson’s goals in the Premier League have come in the last six matches and he found the scoresheet again on Saturday against Crystal Palace, extending West Ham’s lead before Jeffrey Schlupp pulled one back in a 3-2 win.
