West Ham extended their winning streak to three in a row in the Premier League after sweeping aside Crystal Palace in a hard-fought game at the London Stadium.
The win against the Eagles followed two fine performances against Newcastle United and Cardiff City, with the sequence of victories sending Manuel Pellegrini’s side surging up the league standings.
A dazzling display from Felipe Anderson caught the eye once again, with the Brazilian proving to be a star for the east London side after boasting six goals and an assist in 16 appearances this season – but he seems to have turned a corner.
The summer signing from Lazio has found the net five times in the last six Premier League matches, with his recent vein of form including strikes against Newcastle, Huddersfield and Burnley.
His strike against Palace will take some beating though as he superbly curled home from outside the area and earned vast praise from supporters on social media as a result. We have gathered some of their comments below.
