West Ham’s struggles to find consistency continued on Saturday as the Hammers returned from the international break to suffer defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
While a 4-0 defeat against Pep Guardiola’s title favourites was not that surprising, it leaves the stats looking very bleak for Manuel Pellegrini’s side as they have now lost seven of their opening 13 Premier League matches – winning just three.
Admittedly, the Hammers have faced a difficult opening schedule and have more favourable fixtures on the horizon but concerns are starting to rise about the East London side – and the latest comments from Lukasz Fabianski have not eased those worries.
Speaking after the loss against the Citizens, the summer signing from Swansea City suggested that West Ham should not be too concerned following the heavy defeat – which led to some backlash on social media.
Many identified that the Hammers have endured a woeful start to the campaign and condemned the experienced goalkeeper for his attitude. We have gathered some of their comments below.
I mean it's not like we've only won THREE from THIRTEEN is it? What's there to be down about??

Might say different if you were on a pay per win contract?
