West Ham’s summer blueprint is revealed as positions and budget come to light

|

West Ham will be looking to put a spanner in the works for Tottenham this weekend as they go for the top four and we try to finish as high as possible.

A seventh-place finish and potential European spot looks unlikely now, to be honest, but we can still look to finish in the top ten before the end of the campaign.

Away from that, though, we’re surely starting to think about the summer window already and our budget and plan for the market has been outlined by Claret and Hugh.

They report that we have £30m to spend plus any money we can raise on sales whilst we’re looking to add through the spine with a new striker, box-to-box midfielder and central defender.

Certainly, if we can do that we’d have a nice looking squad but I do wonder whether that budget is really enough given the way the market is.
