West Ham’s openness to sell underwhelming player makes perfect sense

|

According to West Ham blog Claret and Hugh, Javier Hernandez could well be let go in the summer window as he continues to struggle to get into the first-team.

The Mexican forward, I would argue, has not lived up to expectations and though we have seen some good signs, it is clear that he would not be that big a miss.

It seems as though the club is thinking similarly, too, and they appear happy to let him go – providing the right package can be agreed.

Of course, he was linked heavily with Valencia not so long ago and appeared to want to move, so maybe they will be back in for him.

He is apparently not happy about the lack of playing time he has had of late and whilst most footballers are like that he’s not done enough to really warrant a place in the side.

For the right price, it makes sense to sell.
