West Ham Striker Linked With Turkish Loan Move

|

Lurking in the pages of one news source is something that I found interesting.

The news source, 90 min, reports that Andy Carroll has been linked with a loan move to the Turkish side, Besiktas.

If that is the case, it could be a clear indication that the 29-year-old striker isn’t part of Manuel Pellegrini’s long-term plans and that West Ham United are looking to get the player off the wage-bill.

However, any such deal could now flounder with, as we reported a few days ago Click Here, Carroll is currently sidelined for three months after surgery.

Which leads us on to make the cheeky suggestion that if Besiktas are, somewhere down the line, keen to pursue a deal then they may insist on a pay-as-you-play clause in the loan contract for the perennially injured striker!

But then again, it would be just our luck if Carroll were to go to Turkey and show that he can be a prolific goal-scorer and stay fit, or is that too much to hope for?
