News has broken, late this afternoon, that West Ham United Football Club has rejected a bid for their striker Andre Ayew.

According to the BBC, Ayew`s former club, Swansea City, have attempted to re-sign their former player.

Ayew joined West Ham United, back in the summer of 2016, with a fee of close to £20 million being paid for his services.

The magnitude of the offer made by Swansea City to re-sign Ayew hasn`t been revealed, but the suggestion is that if the Welsh club want to take the player back to the Liberty Stadium then they`ll have to break their current club transfer record of £15.5 million.

However, with West Ham short of striker options, with Andy Carroll out injured with an ankle problem, David Moyes will be reluctant to do a deal.

But as they often say, money talks.
