West Ham linked with in-demand Championship ace – report

|

Despite the numerous signings that we’ve completed this summer, it seems that are spending is primed to continue, as we’re frequently linked with moves for new players. That latest speculation has linked us with a move for the Bristol City defender, Joe Bryan.

As Bristol Live reports, we’ve joined Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wolves in a race to sign the Robins defender, Joe Bryan. While we already have Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku, it seems that we’re targeting additional reinforcement in defence.

Bryan’s contract expires at the end of the forthcoming season, and the 24-year-old could be available on a reduced fee.

Verdict:

While we already have sufficient protection on the left-flank, Bryan is a versatile player who is capable of playing in a multitude of positions. He can function on either side of the defence, and he’s able to play in a more advanced role on the left flank of midfield.
