West Ham Ignoring The Solution To An Obvious Problem

|

With the Premier League transfer window having slammed shut, ahead of the start of the 2018 / 2019 season, there are still possibilities for members of the current squad to be moved on.

Premier League clubs are still able to sell players to clubs in the EFL and also on the continent, either on a permanent basis or by utilising what is becoming a very popular option, the loan system.

Today, the insinuation is being given by one news source we stumbled upon, the Daily Mail, that the club are looking to loan out the versatile Reece Oxford.

Oxford, just 19-years-of-age, is no stranger to going out on loan having spent last season in the Bundesliga, with Borussia Monchengladbach.

However, with the club having made a poor start to their 2018 / 2019 Premier League campaign, it is disappointing that the hugely promising Oxford hasn’t been given a chance to try and impress in the defensive midfielder slot, a position in the team that is crying out to be filled.

After playing as both a central defender and a midfielder, is Oxford not a prime candidate to be given the opportunity?
