West Ham enter the race to sign €22M-rated La Liga sensation

|

With just seven days left in the transfer window, time is running out to complete deals for new arrivals, and it seems that the club are working relentlessly to secure new additions before the deadline strikes. The latest player to be linked with a move to the London Stadium is the Real Betis striker, Antonio Sanabria.

According to Marca, as cited by Football Espana, we’re interested in signing the 22-year-old, Real Betis forward, Antonio Sanabria.  It was initially rumoured that Nice were courting his signature. However, it has now emerged that we’ve stolen the march in the race to sign the Paraguayan striker. It’s believed that we’re prepared to pay €22M for the striker before the transfer deadline on the 9th of August.

Despite being absent for four months last season through injury, Sanabria still amassed a respectable total of eight goals in 17 league appearances for Real Betis. While he may appear to be a promising prospect with considerable potential, he has only attained double figures once during a single season (so far). While he’s undoubtedly talented, we need a player to arrive who is certified of making an instant impression.
