‘West Ham Didn’t Make Use Of Wind’

Making use of the windy conditions at Goodison Park decided the match, says the Everton hero.

Osman was delighted by his goal which opened the scoring and said West Ham shot themselves in the foot by not making use of the conditions in the first half.

Osman: ‘I don’t think anyone can take that away. They credit my goal last time as an own-goal by a defender! It’s great to be on the scoresheet but even better to get the three points.

‘The wind and the conditions were unbelievable. (They) had a massive effect.

‘In the first half we were under pressure, I think we were against the wind.

‘We stood up and defended really well. We used the conditions to our benefit in the second half and came away winners.’
