West Ham’s season so far has been a tough slog for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who have struggled to find consistency in the Premier League.
The Hammers enter November’s international break sat 13th in the table following a 1-1 draw with a struggling Huddersfield Town side on Saturday, hovering just four points above the relegation zone.
An overall record of six defeats, three wins and three draws from the opening 12 games of the season has left plenty of uncertainty surrounding West Ham’s campaign – and there is also plenty to be decided behind the scenes.
Fan favourite Declan Rice continues to be locked in a contract stand-off with the East London side and, after posting a cryptic message on Twitter that has since been deleted, fans have speculated what the reason behind the Tweet could be.
Some believe that it may be a reference to the reportedly imminent signing of Samir Nasri but others simply think people are looking between the lines too much.
We have gathered some of the best reactions below.

How do you know he’s annoyed? Leave the guy alone he’ll sign for us when he’s ready, and he will sign.

I think it’s him bored of people banging on about his contract.

Or maybe against our fans complaining? Can read it any way you like.

Or he could mean he’s bored of the stupid tweets linking his contract situation with Nasri’s proposed wages.
