West Ham fans will not be best pleased with the way that their side have been playing over the last few weeks. The club’s last four games have delivered three losses and a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, and as one West Ham fan has asked what they need to do in January, a lot of supporters have had their say.
If you were Pellegrini, what signings would you be looking to make in January to strengthen to squad? pic.twitter.com/D70wnGUoCL

It seems that the majority of the fans are calling for a defensively solid left-back and a stronger option in central midfield, preferably a box-to-box option as far as the fans are concerned. Whether or not anything will happen in the mid-season window is yet to be seen, but the fans have certainly spoken.
Over the summer we saw Sebastien Haller sign for £45m, Pablo Fornals came in for £24m and Albian Ajeti for £8m. However, the fans still want more and given the recent performances it really is hard to blame them, even if the same supporters have little faith in doing much January business.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER Poor performers for me at present are :
Lanzini , Fornals , Anderson . IMO in the EPL you can’t have 3 players underperforming in the starting 11 and expect to win a football match— CoachDazza (@DRS_Engineering) October 22, 2019
A reliable left back !

Wingbacks, a box to box, a backup DM, a right winger and a capable backup striker

The fans are clear on what they want when the winter window opens, it’s just up to their club to go ahead and make it happen.
