Some West Ham United fans have been heaping praise on former Hammers midfielder Jack Collison after his latest post.
Tuesday marked the eight-year anniversary of our Play-off final victory against Blackpool in 2012 when we won 2-1 against Blackpool at Wembley.
Ricardo Vaz Te struck a dramatic late winner to send the travelling Upton Park faithful wild, which saw us promoted back to the Premier League in what was a stunning season for us.
Was Jack Collison our best player at Wembley?
Yes
No
Collison posted on Twitter about the afternoon’s proceedings, with the 31-year-old praising the fans and stating how the club was “back where we belong”.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were complimentary towards Collison and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that we could do with him now, while another simply said “thanks for everything”.
You was superb in the play-offs, top player we could do with you now
