West Ham seem to have turned a corner over the course of the past week after securing back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time this season.
Triumphs over Newcastle United and Cardiff City have presented Manuel Pellegrini’s side with a superb platform to build upon over the course of the coming weeks, where the Hammers face a variety of challenges in a busy festive period.
Unfortunately, West Ham will have to enter that sequence of matches without star man Marko Arnautovic as it has been confirmed that the former Stoke City man is set for a spell on the sidelines after being forced off in the first half of the midweek victory against Cardiff.
Arnautovic will certainly be a huge loss as he has contributed five goals and two assists in 13 league appearances this season and many fans on social media have reacted to the news in a variety of ways.
