I’m not sure if this is a position we should really be looking at right now.
I’d much rather us be focusing on trying to bring in a centre-back to try and stabilise the defence. But I suppose if we want more attacking help so that we can win games 4-3 instead, I can’t see any harm in that.

With so many options for Frank Lampard to choose from and the Europeans Championships coming up next summer, the 24-year-old will be looking to get some playing time so that he can make the squad and add to the ten caps that he has gained already:

As I said, this wouldn’t necessarily be my priority this window, but at least this would give us some extra spark in attack.
