This weekend, David Moyes takes charge of his first-match as the new manager of West Ham United Football Club.

Moyes first fixture is against Watford, a game the Hammer support will be hoping will see the club get back to winning ways.

Today, David Moyes held his first pre-match as the Hammers boss and was asked what made him think he was the man who could turn the clubs` fortunes around, with the Scot replying,

‘I could talk about the old days or I could talk about the future.

‘I could talk about winning manager of the year three times or I could talk about getting the biggest job in the world.

‘But I think now it’s time to talk about what’s coming next. And what’s coming next? I’ve got Watford. And I’ve got to try and get a team ready and prepared, who can put on a show and get us a result.’

Moyes clearly means business.

Continuing, the Scot praised our club further adding,

‘West Ham have got an awful lot going for them. We’ve got a fabulous stadium which we’re going to play in for the next 50 or 100 years, and we better start getting used to it – and start winning there.’

And at Watford as well please David!
