‘Waste of my time’, ‘Useless flops’ – So many West Ham fans raged at this moment in Arsenal loss

|

It’s not very often that a manager in the Premier League can make a substitution and have fans left livid from three different angles, but it happened last night when Felipe Anderson made way for Sebastien Haller a minute after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal 3-1 up at the London Stadium.

The Hammers on Twitter were fuming. Some were left raging over the performance of Felipe Anderson which they deemed to be below par, others thought Anderson had been bright and directed their anger towards Manuel Pellegrini, and there were even a few who blew a fuse slating the man coming on, Sebastien Haller.

Overall, though, the mood was incredibly toxic and that will come as no shock. The fans are sick and tired of both the playing staff and the manager at the moment and will be desperate to see things put right sooner or later, although we suspect it will be with a new manager in charge.

Was Pellegrini's summer spending good enough?
