An upturn in the form of West Ham United, a very good upturn, has also resulted in the form of one of our players improving.
But, maybe that isn’t a coincidence, maybe the player in question is somebody who drives us on and when on top-form can make a real difference.
The player in question is none other than Mark Noble.
Our captain is currently showing the kind of form that puzzles many as to why he’s never been capped by England.
His performances make those claims that were surfacing during our bad spell that he should be dropped, laughable.
Thankfully, Mark’s efforts on the pitch continue to be appreciated by the Hammer support, with several postings on social media proving the point;
Absolutely underrated is Nobes! By both West Ham fans and the general football public… travesty that he has never earnt a full #England cap! #Leader #WestHam #Nobes ⚒

Nobes doing what Nobes does, just even better than usual. Ignoring the haters, getting on with it, and revelling in being able to play 20 yards further up the pitch and being able to boss it as a result. #CockneyPirlo ⚒️

Lots of people had said he was done and shouldn’t play. Well done today. Passion means so much

Covers so much ground in every match. Really only get a sense of that in the ground, can’t see it on the TV.

So, is it to late for the following to happen?

Perhaps so, with Gareth Southgate looking at youth in the form of Phil Foden (Manchester City) and Mason Mount (Chelsea), but look on the bright side, not playing for England will keep those legs fresh for the Hammers cause.
