Plenty of West Ham United fans have been criticising defender Arthur Masuaku once again despite the club showing appreciation to him online.
The Hammers’ official Twitter account showcased some footage from last season of the DR Congo international flicking the ball beautifully around Tottenham Hotspur’s Serge Aurier and Son Heung-min.
The London Stadium faithful have already criticised Masuaku recently following news that he was no longer trusted by the coaching staff at Rush Green.
Is Arthur Masuaku good enough?
Yes
No
From 91 appearances in the claret and blue, the Congolese left-back has scored just one goal and provided seven assists over four seasons, and has rarely had a lengthy run of starts for the Hammers.
With this in mind, supporters were still not impressed with Masuaku and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan described him as a “useless excuse for a footballer”, while another labelled him as a “terrible player”.
Not done anything since either

This is the only good thing he’s done, and what came from it?

Only thing the useless excuse for a footballer has done for us, yet most fans think he’s amazing

He got lucky with a trick, but no end product. The guy can’t defend
