Transfer News: West Ham looking at 12 goal winger but face competition from Roma and Leicester

|

It looks like David Moyes and the Hammers are yet to give up the fight on relegation, and as the Hammers continue to battle there seems to be one eye cast towards the summer transfer window, as the Irons are being linked with making a few signings.

With the struggling Sebastien Haller top-scoring for the Hammers in the Premier League this season so far on just six goals, it looks like Moyes and co are targeting goalscorers, and who better than someone who isn’t even an out and out striker yet has bagged double Haller’s six goals whilst playing in the Netherlands.

The man in question is AZ Alkmaar winger Oussama Idrissi. The wide-man has been linked with a move to West Ham via Calcio Mercato, who have also documented that Roma, Leicester City, Everton and Ajax have all got an eye on the 23-year-old, who has 12 goals and three assists in the Eredivisie this season (Transfermarkt).

The Dutch-born Moroccan international is a talented player, and at 23-years-old he’s been capped twice by his country as he’s started to make a name for himself, and what better place than the London Stadium for him to continue his development.

Where will we be playing next season?

The article states here:

‘Author of a truly impressive season, the AZ Alkmaar winger was the only one to save himself in the Dutch Cup debacle last night, making his sixteenth goal of the season, thus doubling the number of decisive assists already provided to companions.’

‘Important numbers that have also attracted the attention of some Premier League clubs. In fact, in addition to Everton and West Ham, recently Leicester also asked for information on the attacker born in 1996, which Ajax also likes.’
