West Ham maintained their perfect run in December by securing a fourth Premier League victory in a row against Fulham on Saturday.
The Hammers have now seen off Newcastle United, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace and Fulham this month, scoring 11 goals and keeping two clean sheets – a significant improvement following what was a difficult start to the season.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have now risen into the top half of the standings and sit just two points behind Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, heading into a run of games that are favourable for the Hammers as they seek to extend their fine run of form.
Plenty of players earned praise for their performance against the Cottagers and one of those was full-back Arthur Masuaku, who has often been criticised for his displays this season but many fans have been pleased by his improvements.
