Time for West Ham to walk away after latest transfer setback

Duvan Zapata is a man who has torn up Serie A this season and many a side is interested in trying to sign him in the summer.

Certainly, he looks an impressive forward with the pace and power he brings, as well as a lot of goals.

He could well prove to be a good player for us, then, and we do need a new striker but it is actually time for the Hammers to forget about this one.

Calciomercato – via Hammers News – has reported that we’ve been interested but the latest report, from Calciomercato again, has to put us off.

In what is a setback, according to them, his club Atalanta want £51.7m before someone can sign him and that is simply too much for us – you would think.

Not in the sense that we can’t go that far, of course, but I would rather us sign three or four good players rather than take all our money and throw it at this guy.

Let’s be savvy and walk away.
