The Carabao Cup is a competition that is much maligned.
Unless, of course, you get to the latter stages then it becomes a means of putting some silverware in the cupboard.
For some, this season, it could provide respite from the awful start to the new season the side has made.
Our opposition, in the next round, are Macclesfield and, aware that the lower league side are not the most attractive of opponents, the club has moved quickly to advertise the facts that tickets are available at cheap rates:
West Ham United are delighted to confirm that tickets for our Carabao Cup third round tie against Macclesfield Town later this month are available from just £10 for adults and at £5 for ALL juniors.https://t.co/S1uwHJLYs0

However, in our current far from rich vein of form, social media is alive with quips from the disgruntled support that suggest the price cut hasn’t gone far enough with the following brace illustrating the point perfectly:
Should be paying us to go!

Should be free the way we are playing

Continuing though, we had to smile at the comment below:
£5 whatever happened to kids for a quid
