The Nou Camp Turns Into Vicarage Road For West Ham Youngster

|

Back in July, we ran an article relating the future of our 18-year-old Portuguese midfielder, Domingos Quina.

Our article, Click Here, covered the possibility that with none other than Barcelona interested in the youngster, the club might be ready to offer the player a new deal.

However, it seems that wasn’t to be the case.

Yesterday, it was confirmed by the BBC that the player had left West Ham United on a permanent deal.

Quina, who impressed during the recent European U19 international tournament, had opted to join our Premier League rivals, Watford.

The midfielder, who made four senior appearances for West Ham, has put pen-to-paper on a 4-year deal with the Vicarage Road based club.

In our opinion, it’s a strange conclusion to a piece of speculation that we found interesting, we can only think that any interest from Barcelona fizzled out because you can’t get two different scenarios than running out at the Camp Nou and running out at Vicarage Road.

But, returning to the media shot above, some West Ham United supporters have commented on the lack of a smile on the youngsters face, at having joined Watford:

However, here at Vital West Ham, we’d like to wish the lad all the best in the next stage of his career and it’ll be interesting to see, somewhere down the line, it is a transfer West Ham could live to regret.
