The summer of our dreams looks poised to continue and having already signed Wilshere and Yarmolenko, we’ve been linked with a move for Sevilla’s Franco Vazquez.
As Football Espana reports, West Ham have made an official approach for the services of Franco Vasquez. The 29-year-old midfielder allegedly doesn’t feature in Sevilla’s plans, thus, allowing us to exploit his availability.
Here’s how West Ham supporters have responded to the speculation on Twitter.
Yes please

He's good.

Franco Vázquez comes highly recommended by Enzo Maresca who was a teammate of his at Palermo and also worked with him while at Sevilla as part of the coaching set up. pic.twitter.com/zvgK7yqBOt

He's good but there are better options for 35m

He isn't even worth £15m nevermind £35m

It's a punt but for that kind of money surely Rafinha is a better shout & can play CAM & CM.
Vasquez is good but I don't know about 35m. Agruebly if he was performing like he was at Palermo then yes

Verdict:
The attacking midfielder is vastly experienced and has scored a decent total of 13 goals since joining Sevilla in 2016. The creative midfielder contributed towards ten league goals in La Liga last season, scoring four and registering six assists, and he’s recognised for his tremendous passing ability.
His creativity and industry will be of exceeding benefit for us this season, and his presence would significantly enhance the quality of our midfield, especially while Manuel Lanzini is absent.
