Plenty of West Ham United fans have been voicing their disapproval about the latest report concerning what the club has planned to do to engage the fans when the 2019/20 campaign gets back underway.
Before the Premier League was suspended, the Hammers were sitting 16th in the standings, level on points with Watford and Bournemouth, with the Cherries currently inside the relegation zone. David Moyes’ side are far from safe as it stands.
Officials are looking to follow the example that the German Bundesliga have set, having successfully restarted their season but behind closed doors. With this in mind, West Ham have come up with an idea to get around this.
Is this a good idea?
Yes
No
According to the Daily Express, the club are in discussions about showing fan faces on the big screens in the London Stadium, via the video-messaging app Zoom.
Unsurprisingly, supporters had their concerns about the discussions and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that it will “get us relegated quicker”, while another simply stated, “how sad”.
