The baptism of fire that Jeremy Ngakia has had this season has been frightening. The young right-back’s time in the Premier League has been brief but very impressive, especially considering his four games have been against Liverpool home and away, Arsenal away and Southampton at home (WhoScored).

Regardless of the opposition, Ngakia hasn’t buckled under the pressure of the challenge. The youngster once again got 90 minutes when the Hammers travelled the short distance across London to The Emirates, and he was unlucky not to have been part of a winning side, as the Irons edged the xG in the clash despite losing (Understat).
The fans all understand just what a good job the youngster is doing, though, and the 19-year-old has been getting rave reviews from the supporters on Twitter in response to an official club post as the club pointed out that Ngakia again got 90 minutes in his legs on the weekend.
Should we keep Moyes beyond the summer?

You can read the Hammers’ thoughts on Ngakia here:
Ngakia has been superb in every game he has played for the West Ham first team so far in his career – even when back fit, Fredericks will struggle to displace Ngakia between now and the end of the season. Ngakia looks tailor made for a long stint as West Ham’s RB going forward.

Doing well. Hope he continues to develop as he’s looking an excellent prospect. even when fit again I can’t see Fredericks displacing him.

Best RB in the league

Fredericks has cost us so many goals this season, a total liability. The kid listens to those around him and if in doubt hoof it up the field.

The fans clearly love Ngakia and will be desperate to see more of him as the season draws on.
