West Ham will need to be active during the January amidst the news that Marko Arnautovic is rapidly closing in on a move to Chinese side Shanghai SIPG, which will be worth in excess of £35m.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have progressed well under the guidance of the Chilean boss this season but a replacement will need to be secured if Arnautovic departs – and fans on social media have been calling out for a remarkable addition.
Many optimistic fans on Twitter have called for the Hammers to go all-out to land Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, although it will be difficult to persuade the Bundesliga side to sell the Germany international – and the 22-year-old may also have his sights set higher.
