West Ham fans have been treated to loads of links to plenty of players this summer, and on the latest edition of ExWHUemployee’s The West Ham Way podcast, the Twitter transfer guru claimed that the Irons are in for Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama.
Pedro Obiang looks set to leave West Ham for Sassuolo for a £10m fee. It is believed the Hammers will look to replace him, with Victor Wanyama and Gary Medel among the names on their shortlist.

The Hammers are in need of some steel in the middle of the park at The London Stadium, whilst Declan Rice has done a superb job as a defensive midfielder, he can’t do the role alone and will need some kind of competition and depth, which is where Wanyama comes in.
The Kenyan midfield man will likely struggle for game time next season at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium considering the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, so an exit looks on the cards, with West Ham a touted destination.
Whilst Tottenham don’t often sell to West Ham given their rivalry, the fans are desperate for Wanyama, and you can read their calls for the combative midfield man here…

The Irons all seem desperate to bring in Wanyama, and will just hope a deal can be struck up with Spurs to make it happen.
