Many West Ham supporters have been reacting on social media, after one fan shared a list of players who may be leaving East London in the summer.
Who will be culled from our wage bill has been a hot topic for some time with the transfer window nearing, and reports that our budget before sales will be minuscule compared to the value high-level players now come at.
Obvious names like Andy Carroll are always at the front of the queue heading out of the London Stadium; with the perennially crocked forward’s contract set to expire next month and chances of a new deal standing at next to nothing.
Samir Nasri’s short-term deal coming to an end in the summer may also see the former Manchester City and Arsenal playmaker depart inside a year, having been restricted to just six appearances on the back of a WADA imposed ban.
Reece Oxford has also been linked with a permanent switch to Bundesliga outfit Augsburg, where he has spent the second half of the current campaign on loan.
Pedro Obiang, too, could be sold once the window opens, with the Spanish-born midfielder said to be desperate to force a move having been retained in January.
They are, however, just a handful of the names that could be off our books next term, and when West Ham Fan Zone shared a shortlist of potentially sold or released players on Twitter, this is how some of the fanbase replied…
Obiang was immense yesterday and gets much more stick than I think is warranted. We will spend a lot more money and get much worse in my opinion. He’s a good back up man in his position IMHO

Two players I would keep , Samuelson and Nasri

Is Samuelson really not going to make it? Every time I’ve seen him he’s reminded me of Brooking.

Reid or Ogbonna will go and either Athur or Cresswell if the gaffer buys a new left back which I think he will, wouldn’t be surprised if he cashed in on Antonio if the right replacement was available

People jump on the transfer budget size but think how much this will clear up our wage bill every week

All can go. Maybe keep Pérez as 3rd/4th but he could easily start for a same calibre club in Spain.
