Having already secured five high-profile summer signings, this is turning out to be one of our most successful and exciting transfer windows. That said, the spending seems poised to continue as we’re closing in on the signing of Corinthians defender Fabian Balbuena.
According to Football London, we’ve activated the defender’s release clause, and the Paraguayan is poised to become our sixth summer signing. It is believed that the defender’s release clause is £4M, which could prove to be excellent business from the club.

West Ham have an agreement to sign Paraguay international centre back Fabian Balbuena from Corinthians. Verdict:
The 26-year-old is exceedingly experienced having represented a whole host of South American clubs. Also, he’s amassed 17 goals at club level throughout his career, which is a truly magnificent total for a defender. The defender is regarded for his refined passing ability, his ability to dictate aerial battles and his unwavering concentration. He would be a good addition.
