‘Should have sold him when his stock was high’: These West Ham fans discuss ideal January window

|

West Ham endured a slow start to life under Manuel Pellegrini but have finally found some rhythm during the course of their most recent matches.

The Hammers boast three consecutive Premier League victories after seeing off Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace at the start of December, which provides a strong platform to build upon over the coming weeks.

However, there is still work to be done though and further action is expected in the transfer market as Pellegrini looks to build upon his £100m spending spree in the summer – and fans have been discussing which areas they would like to see him focus on.

While the defence has been boosted with the signings of Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena, a more solid left-back is required and the Hammers also need improvements in the final third – where they lack a top-class centre-forward.

Both featured heavily in the comments from supporters and we have gathered some of their views below.
