Seven Signings Brings A New Level Of Optimism to West Ham United

|

With West Ham United Football Club having made an unprecedented seven signings during the summer transfer window with, possibly, one or two more to come, it’s fair to say that anticipation levels for the coming season are increasing.

The start of a new season generates the same feelings around many clubs, supporters think big and dream of glory, only for those dreams to come crashing down after a few games as the realisation hits home that their side isn’t as good as they’d hoped they might be.

But, things are, we feel, different at our club this season.

Not only have the clubs’ hierarchy stuck to their word and brokered a major spending spree, West Ham have also added some pretty-decent players to the squad.

With that being the scenario, we’d like to ask you, the Vital West Ham readership, a very pertinent question.

On the back of the summer spending spree, how do you think the club will fare in the forthcoming 2018 / 2019 season?

Obviously, we’re not expecting Manuel Pellegrini to have to fend off a dalliance with relegation, but how high, up the table, can the Chilean take us?

Do you feel that the Hammers can finish in a European qualifying place or perhaps even push for a top-four place?

Please feel free to leave your views in the comments facility beneath this article, we’d be very interested to see what you have to say.
