“Seriously alarming”: WHU defender’s form giving serious cause for concern according to journalist

|

Maybe it’s best that we sell him on as soon as possible.

Before he gets any worse, and whilst we can still get a good fee for him before his valuation begins to plummet. I’m talking of course about Issa Diop.

He didn’t exactly cover himself in glory last night against Newcastle United, allowing Callum Wilson to sneak in for the visitor’s goal, and earning a 6.3 rating on WhoScored, the lowest of all four centre-backs on the pitch (although still higher than the team average, which perhaps tells you all you need to know about the team’s display).

Should Moyes look to sell Diop this summer?

Yes

No

And speaking on social media, Hammers journalist Sam Inkersole gave a pretty quick summation of how he has been performing in recent seasons, and to say that he was critical of him would be a bit of an understatement:

With just under a month to go in the transfer window, time’s running out for the club to make a decision on his future. Should he stay or should he go?

If he stays mind, he’s going to have to pick up his game if he wants to stay in the first-team picture.
