With West Ham having secured the services of Andy Carroll, on a deal that is by far the biggest in the clubs history, I`m a little concerned.

The announcement, earlier this week, inferring that West Ham have put a quartet of players, including Ricardo Vaz Te, up for sale, suggests that funds are tight with regards to abiding with the newly introduced Financial Fair Play rules.

To us, it looks very much as if Big Sam, having secured the services of Carroll, is now in a position whereby he must sell to raise funds for other new recruits.

If this is the case then I`m a little fearful that some of our potential targets might not be acquired and sign for other clubs.

Does anybody else share these fears?
