Reserves Rip It Up

Last night one of the most impressive reserve teams that we have put out for a long time beat Birmingham 6-0. The team consisted of:

Stech, Daprela, Ferrari, N’Gala, Da Costa, Payne, Quashie, Behrami, Hines, Nouble, Diamanti.

1250 fans turned up to watch the return of Behrami, and catch a first glimpse of Diamanti. Both looked great for the hour of so they played. Diamanti looked impressive, showing his skills as a dead-ball specialist, with two goals direct from free-kicks. These are available to view for free on the official site.

Hines was also impressive, looking sharp throughout and ending up with a hat-trick for his hard work.

Very good news for Zola all round, and there should be good competition for places for the Wigan game.
