Young Hammers Kyel Reid and Zavon Hines have left Upton Park on loan, to join Crystal Palace and Coventry City respectively.

Reid, who has played four times for West Ham this season in all competitions, has previously spent time on loan at Barnsley and signs for South London side Palace on a one month loan deal.

Turning 21 later this year, Reid recently signed a contact extension with the Hammers to keep him with the club until at least 2009. Hines, however, is yet to figure for the first team.

The pacey 19-year-old striker has figured regularly in the youth and reserve teams in recent times but still is to play a first team match in his career. Hines will stay at Selhurst Park until the end of the season.
