West Ham’s clash with Arsenal on Monday night was a catastrophe. Not only did the Gunners beat the Hammers at The London Stadium, but they scored three goals in nine minutes to sink the Irons and leave them angrily calling for Manuel Pellegrini’s head.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom for the Hammers, though. The home fans did have something to celebrate, as despite losing the game to Freddie Ljungberg’s Arsenal, the Irons did take the lead through a deflected Angelo Ogbonna header in the first half.
The Italian may not be doing enough to keep the entire fan base off of the backs of the Manuel Pellegrini and the board, but what he has been doing this season is certainly impressive, and the former Juventus man has received loads of praise from his fans.
Is Angelo Ogbonna the front runner for HOTY?

The Hammers have got loads of time for Ogbonna and will just hope that should Manuel Pellegrini get sacked that the Italian keeps his levels up.
