West Ham fans have got a lot of time for Michail Antonio. The Englishman is a seriously talented player and he has the ability to turn games on their head with individual moments of brilliance, however, the fans are debating whether or not he should start against Spurs this weekend.

The winger has played just four games this season and has struggled with injury ever since he was subbed off after just eight minutes against Newport County in the Carabao Cup, and since then he’s missed a whopping ten games (Transfermarkt).
However, now he could be set to get back into the side, and whilst he’s fit to play against Tottenham, a lot of the fans have been urging for the wideman to start on the bench owing to his injury record and don’t want to see him rushed back just to end up sitting out for longer.
Who should start against Tottenham this weekend?
Michail Antonio
Andriy Yarmolenko
Both!
Neither

First game back, I’d put him on the bench as an ace in the pack

I want to but it would be the wrong decision

Wouldn’t want to have to risk it, but can’t see how he can’t start. We need something different, something that works.

Last time we brought him back too quick and then he got injured for even longer so no don’t risk it

He’s not even match fit ffs. Stupid question.

The fans are obviously concerned about Antonio’s fitness and whilst he may be an option off the bench this weekend, they’re worried about starting him.
