Potential movement on continent could give West Ham green light to complete transfer

|

Recently, Le 10 Sport in France has reported that West Ham could be keen on signing Marseille man Morgan Sanson in the summer transfer window, as the club looks to strengthen its squad under David Moyes.

Of course, it remains to be seen just when the transfer window is going to be open for business given the current global situation, but eventually things will get back to normal and we’ll be able to look forward to the simple pleasures of the transfer rumour mill…

Anyway, the latest report concerning Marseille may well boost hopes that West Ham can get their hands on Sanson once the market is open up for trading.

According to Buzz Sport, the Ligue 1 side is looking at getting in a new midfielder in the summer window and that could pave the way for Sanson to leave the south of France.

Logically, then, the suggestion would be that, if the Hammers do in fact have an interest in the player, they would see their chances of potentially getting him increase, as Marseille would be more open to agreeing a deal.

Obviously, it’s also clear that if they do not get in the new midfielder, the Hammers might not be able to make such a deal work, and so this is very much in the balance at the moment.

Even so, there are movements going on right now and the Hammers are hopefully planning for a busy summer window once it does come around as this off-period is the perfect time to assess a few things.
