The young Hammers squad currently sit three points clear at the top of Division 2 of the Premier League 2 pyramid as well as remain unbeaten in the league after eight games, and Joe Powell’s wonder goal in West Ham’s 4-0 win against Stoke got plenty of supporters on social media talking.
The outrageous chip was one of the West Ham U-23s goals of the season, and plenty of fans are now eager to see Powell, as well as a handful of other youngsters, make the jump from the youth side into the first-team.
