West Ham have endured a turbulent few seasons since moving to the London Stadium and finding consistency has remained a problem in 2018-19, although the Hammers have the opportunity to put their difficult start to the season behind them.
The fixture list for the opening few months of the Premier League campaign was not kind to the Hammers but a more favourable run of games lies ahead, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side having provided themselves with a platform to build upon after Saturday’s victory over Newcastle.
Winning at St. James’ Park should have increased the confidence amongst the squad ahead of tonight’s clash with Cardiff City and it is clear the supporters have already begun to see signs of improvements from their side.
Pellegrini spent heavily in the summer to rejuvenate his squad and could now reap the rewards as Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski and Felipe Anderson are amongst those to have settled quickly in the Premier League.
After the boss took to social media to celebrate the win against Newcastle, many fans used the opportunity to thank Pellegrini for his work so far. We have gathered some of their reactions below.

We wouldn’t be playing like this if it wasn’t for you Pellegrini. So thank you! Your passion for attractive football is what the West Ham fans(generally) have been crying out for.
